Privacy policy

The short version

We collect the minimum to send you the launch note you signed up for. No analytics SDK, no advertising, no third-party trackers. Your study progress in the app stays on your device.

What this site collects

If you submit the email form, we store: your email address, the page you signed up from, your IP address, the country your IP resolves to, and your browser's user-agent string. We use this to send launch and product updates, and to keep our list clean.

We do not run analytics on this site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which logs request metadata at the edge for abuse prevention; that's outside our control and described in their documentation.

What the app collects

Nothing leaves your device by default. Study progress is local-first and may sync privately across your devices via iCloud, which uses your Apple ID. We never see it. Purchases go through Apple's StoreKit; we receive only what's necessary to validate your entitlement.

How we use your email

Pre-launch: a launch announcement, plus occasional product updates and OMVIC regulatory notes if you've opted in. We won't share or sell your address.

Unsubscribing

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@dealerprep.ca and we'll remove you within a business day.

Canadian anti-spam (CASL)

By submitting the email form you give express consent to receive commercial electronic messages from DealerPrep. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
